Central Missouri Volleyball Falls in NCAA Semis

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (UCM Media Relations) -- Central Missouri volleyball saw its season come to an end Friday at the NCAA Division II Championships, dropping a 3-0 semifinal round match to second-ranked Tampa. The ninth-ranked Jennies finish the season 32-5, and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time since 1996, when Tampa also ended their dreams of playing for the national title.

The Jennies had a tough time with the Tampa play at the net, outblocked 13-2 in the match. Paula Harris led the Jennies with 14 kills, while Allie Huffman finished with 11.
