Lettow, Domike Selected as Athletes of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lindsay Lettow (Central Missouri) and Nkeiruka Domike (Nebraska-Omaha) have been named MIAA Women's Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 15-21 as selected by a conference SID panel. Domike wins the field award for the third week in a row and third time overall this season, while Lettow earns the track honor for the second time in 2010.

MIAA WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Lindsay Lettow, So., Central Missouri
Lettow won the 60-meter hurdles at the Central Missouri Classic in 8.70, which is the ninth-best time in Division II, tied for the best mark in the MIAA and the third-best in school history.  The sophomore from Urbandale, Iowa, also took second in the long jump. Lettow's winning jump of 17-11.00 feet tied her personal best this year.

MIAA WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Nkeiruka Domike, Jr., Nebraska-Omaha
Domike improved her national-leading mark in the triple jump for the third straight week with a leap of 41-10 feet at the Nebraska Tune-Up. The junior from Rivers-State, Nigeria, finished second by one-half of an inch to a Division I athlete.  Her automatic-qualifying mark is best in Division II by more than a foot and leads the MIAA by more than two feet.  Domike's mark is also a school record.
