Central Missouri’s Lindsay Lettow leads the women’s heptathlon after the first day. She has a score of 3,146 after four events, 146 points better than Emily Churchman of Northwest Missouri, who is in second place with 3,000 points.

Walker, Lettow Lead After Day One of Multis
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Darius Walker, the 2010 NCAA Indoor National Champion in the men’s heptathlon, leads the decathlon through one day of the 2010 MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Multi-Event Championships at Fred G. Hughes Stadium in Joplin, Mo.
Walker posted a score of 3,908 points through five events,
posting the high score in the 100 meters, long jump and 400 meters.
He leads second-place Craig Saalfield of Emporia State by 226
points (3,682).
