UCM Wins MIAA Regular Season Soccer Title
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Central Missouri claimed its fourth MIAA regular season soccer title in school history Saturday after defeating Truman, 2-0 in the regular season finale. The Jennies have a perfect 8-0 record in conference play this season while holding an overall mark of 17-1.
Central finishes with 24 points in the conference standings and will be the top seed in next weekend's MIAA tournament. Truman, with 21 points, will be the No. 2 seed. Missouri Southern finished with 18 points and will be the No. 3 seed, while Northwest Missouri will be the No. 4 seed with 15 points. Seeds 5 and 6 will be finalized upon completion of the Emporia State-Missouri Western matchup, which is in progress.
