She tied the ESU record for saves in a single game against Central Missouri as she racked up 16 on the afternoon. She is one of only three keepers on the season to hold #12 Central Missouri to one goal or less in a match. Her 16 saves along with two Hornet team saves tied the ESU record single game saves by the team, of 18 which was set during the 2001 season.

The Hornets have scored atleast one goal in five of their last six matches and are averaging 12.2 shots per game this season. The Hornets have not averaged more than 12.0 shots per match in a season since 2005 when they averaged 13.6 shots per game on the season. ESU has only allowed 16 goals by their opponents this season.

The Hornets have earned two wins against MIAA opponents for the first time since 2008 and look to earn their third MIAA win for the first time since 2005. ESU's last three win season overall came during the 2006 campaign.

Fort Hays State
The Tigers went 0-2 last week against two of the top teams in the MIAA, Central Missouri and Northwest Missouri State. Joanne Glynn, the Tigers' leading scorer this season, added to her season-high total, scoring the lone goal in the 2-1 loss to Northwest Missouri State. The sophomore from Lakewood, Colo. now has seven goals and 15 points on the season, both team highs. Benitez is second on the team in goals with four.
