Tritz, Fox Named Student-Athletes of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Northwest Missouri's Andrea
Tritz and Nebraska-Omaha's Lauren Fox have been named MIAA Soccer
Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 17-19 as
selected by a conference SID panel.
MIAA SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Andrea Tritz, F, Northwest Missouri
Tritz scored both of Northwest Missouri's goals in a 2-1
victory over Southwest Baptist on Sept. 19. The goals gave the
senior from Sioux City, Iowa, four goals on the season to go along
with an assist. It was also Tritz's first multi-goal game of the
year.

Shannon Roher, SBU.
MIAA SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lauren Fox, GK, Nebraska-Omaha
Fox started in goal for the Mavericks in both of their
matches last week against Central Missouri and Missouri Southern.
On Sept. 17 against UCM, the junior from Beatrice, Neb., had seven
saves to help lead UNO to a 2-0 win over the Jennies. It was Fox's
first shutout of the season and improved her record to 2-0 on the
year. On Sept. 19 against Missouri Southern, she recorded two saves
and helped UNO to another 2-0 win. It was Fox's second-consecutive
shutout and third win of the year in net for the Mavs. It was the
first time she has recorded back-to-back shutouts in her career.
