UCM's Lettow, Vogel Win National Championships
Central Missouri’s Lindsay Lettow and Brent Vogel won National Championships in the women’s heptathlon and men’s decathlon, respectively, and 21 total MIAA student-athletes have earned All-America honors through two days at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium in Turlock, Calif.

2011 All-MIAA Men's Tennis Team Announced
Three singles players and two doubles duos from 2011 MIAA men's tennis regular season and tournament champion Northwest Missouri were named All-MIAA First Team to highlight the all-conference team released Wednesday by the league office. The selections were made by the league's six head coaches, and coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.

Northwest Claims Men's Tourney Championship
Northwest Missouri defeated Southwest Baptist, 5-1, Saturday at the Plaza Tennis Center to win the 2011 MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament Championship. Northwest held the edge in the doubles matches, 2-1, before winning three singles matches to clinch the title.

Matt Van Horn (Emporia State) and Morgan Rainey (Washburn) have been named MIAA Tennis Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 11-17, as selected by a conference SID panel.

2011 MIAA Tennis Championships Central
No. 3 seed Southwest Baptist defeated No. 4 Northwest Missouri, 5-2, Saturday at the Plaza Tennis Center to claim the 2011 MIAA Women's Tennis Tounament Championship. Southwest Baptist trailed Northwest Missouri, 2-1, after doubles play but rallied to win four singles matches to earn the championship.

2011 MIAA Men's Tennis Bracket Announced
The men's bracket for the 2011 MIAA Tennis Championships has been released, the conference office announced Friday. Northwest Missouri will be the No. 1 seed. The Bearcats, currently 4-0 in MIAA play, have clinched at least a share of the regular season championship.

Northwest Missouri's Malcolm Harrison and Washburn's Morgan Rainey have been named MIAA Tennis Student-Athletes of the Week for play from the beginning of the season through March 13 as selected by a conference SID panel.
