No. 33 Ichabods Fall in Men's Tennis Regional

No. 19 Abilene Christian blanks WU, 5-0

ABILENE, Texas -- The Washburn Ichabods season came to an end with a 5-0 loss to No. 19-ranked Abilene Christian (Texas) in the second round of the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Friday (May 8) at the Eager Tennis Center.

The No. 33-ranked Ichabods finished the season with a 13-6 overall record while winning their third MIAA championship in the last four years.

The Ichabods managed to pick up 11 games in doubles play before bowing out with a pair of straight set losses in singles action.
