UCM Ties for Third at NCAA Golf Championships
Central Missouri fell 3-2 to Lynn in the semifinal round of Match Play on Thursday at the 2011 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship.

Central Missouri Wins MIAA Men's Golf Crown
Led by individual medalist Matt Miller, Central Missouri claimed the 2011 MIAA Men's Golf Tournament Championship with a final-round 296 Tuesday at Tiffany Greens Golf Club. The Mules finished with a 54-hole score of 889 (+25) to also secure their third consecutive MIAA regular season championship and earn the MIAA's automatic bid to the NCAA postseason.

UCM, UNO Lead MIAA Golf Championships
Central Missouri fired a two-round score of 593 (+17) to lead the men's tournament, and Nebraska Omaha carded a team score of 313 (+25) to lead the way in the women's tournament after day one at the 2011 MIAA Golf Championships at Tiffany Greens Golf Club.

UCM Claims Heart of America Classic Title
Central Missouri fired a final-round 285 to finish with a total team score of 852 (even par) to claim the UCM Heart of America Classic at Keth Memorial Golf Course in Warrnesburg, Mo. With the win, the Mules have now swept the first three MIAA men's golf scoring events of 2010-11.

UCM Holds 36-Hole Lead at MIAA Spring Event
Central Missouri leads through 36 holes of the Heart of America Invitational in Warrensburg, Mo., the third MIAA men's golf scoring event of the season and the last one before next week's MIAA Championships. The Mules carded a total team score of 567 (-1) to take a 10-shot lead heading into the final round.

Poe Named United States Palmer Cup Head Coach
Tim Poe, Head Golf Coach for the University of Central Missouri, has been named the Unites States Coach for the 2011 Palmer Cup at The Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Conn. The annual Ryder Cup-style competition will be played June 9-11, 2011.

Central Missouri Sweeps MIAA Fall Golf Events
Central Missouri carded a two-round score of 567 (-9) to win the Missouri Western Invitational at Fairview Golf Course in St. Joseph, Mo., the second MIAA men's golf scoring event of the season. The Mules defeated runner-up Washburn (584, +8) by 17 strokes.

Washburn Leads MIAA Scoring Event After 18
Washburn leads through 18 holes of the Lincoln University Invitational, the first MIAA men's golf scoring event of the season, after carding a team score of 295 at the Old Kinderhook Golf Club in Camdenton, Mo. The Ichabods lead by one stroke over Central Missouri and Missouri Southern.

Central Missouri Wins First MIAA Scoring Event
Central Missouri fired a final-round team score of 288 Tuesday to win the Lincoln University Invitational at the Old Kinderhook Golf Club in Camdenton, Mo., the first MIAA mens golf scoring event of the season. The Mules two-day total of 584 (+16) gave them a 10-stroke victory over runner-up Missouri Southern (594, +26).
