Central Remains Second at Men's Golf Regional

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Missouri carded a second round 315 Tuesday at the 2010 NCAA Men’s Golf Midwest/South Central Regional to remain in second place, tied with host Cameron University at 600 (+24). UCM and Cameron stand six shots behind first-place Wayne State (594, +18).

Central Missouri’s Justin Yoder fell one spot to third place after shooting a 78 (+6) on Tuesday. His two-round total of 146 (+2) leads UCM and is just one stroke behind co-leaders Brad Nipper of Southwest Baptist and Nick Gunthorpe of Grand Valley State (145, +1). SBU’s Nipper is competing as an individual.
 
Washburn’s Dustin Yeager, also playing as an individual, sits in a tie for 43rd at 153 (+9).
 
The third and final round of the Midwest/South Central Regional at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla., will be played Wednesday. Check www.themiaa.com for updates following the completion of the tournament.
