Central Missouri Golf Sweeps Fall Scoring Events

HAYS, Kan. -- Central Missouri shot a final
round 308 Tuesday to win the team title at the Fort Hays
Invitational by 14 strokes over Nebraska-Kearney at Smoky Hill
Country Club.
There was a three-way tie for first place individually between
Dustin Yeager of Washburn, Severiano Smith of Missouri Southern,
and Zack Van Dolah of Central Missouri. The playoff took four holes
to determine a winner, with Yeager outlasting Smith. Van Dolah was
knocked out on the first hole of the playoff.
Justin Yoder of Central Missouri provided the highlight of the final round with a hole-in-one on the par-3, 154 yard, 18th hole.
The Fort Hays Invitational was the second and final fall MIAA scoring event, with the final two points events taking place in the spring. Missouri Southern will host the next one April 11-13, and the MIAA Golf Championships will take place April 18-20 at Shoal Creek Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo.
