MARYVILLE, Mo. (NWMSU Media Relations) – DeShaun Cooper scored 15 second half points to help Northwest Missouri State rally from 13 points down and knock off Washburn 65-59 for their eighth straight win Saturday night at Bearcat Arena.

Truman 66, Pittsburg State 57 
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (TSU Communictions) – The Truman Men's Basketball team withstood the Pittsburg State University pressure and Seth Jackson scored 17 points as the Bulldogs evened their MIAA record at 1-1 with a 66-57 win over the Gorillas in Pershing Arena.

Emporia State 59, Missouri Western 57
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (MWSU Sports Information) -- The Missouri Western men's basketball team struggled shooting free throws down the stretch making just 9-of-17 in a 59-57 loss against Emporia State. Justin Reid collected a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds as Western falls to 5-3 overall and 0-2 in MIAA play.

Missouri Southern 72, Central Missouri 64
WARRENSBURG, Mo. (UCM Media Relations) -- The Central Missouri Mules struggled offensively and came up a bit short in their upset bid of No. 2 Missouri Southern falling 72-64 on Saturday afternoon at the UCM Multipurpose Building. UCM shot 28.8 percent for the game, including 25 percent in the second half after leading by one at the break.

Lincoln 72, Southwest Baptist 67
BOLIVAR, Mo. (SBU Media Relations) -- The SBU men's basketball team took a tough loss on Wednesday night, dropping the game against the Blue Tigers of Lincoln 72-67. The Bearcats had four players score in double figures in the loss.
