Central Takes Over Top Spot in Men's Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Central Missouri takes over the top spot in the South Central Region in this week's Division II men's basketball regional rankings,  the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee announced Wednesday.

Fort Hays State stays put at No. 3, while Nebraska-Omaha moves up to No. 6, Southwest Baptist drops to No. 7 and Missouri Western moves down to No. 9.

The top 10 teams in each region are listed below for each of the eight regions. The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 3, 2010. Selections will take place via a Web cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7.
