Three MIAA Schools in Top Five of Men's Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - MIAA schools hold three of the top five spots in the South Central region in this week's Division II men's basketball regional rankings, the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee announced Wednesday.

Central Missouri is No. 2 for the third straight week, followed by Fort Hays State at No. 3 and Southwest Baptist at No. 5. Nebraska-Omaha is seventh, and Missouri Western is eighth to round out the MIAA schools ranked this week.

The top 10 teams in each region are listed below for each of the eight regions. The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 3, 2010. Selections will take place via a Web-cast selection show on NCAA.com, Sunday, March 7.
