FHSU, UCM 1-2 in First Men's Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fort Hays State and Central Missouri are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, to lead five MIAA schools in this week's South Central regional rankings, released Wednesday by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee.

This is the first regional rankings release of the 2009-10 season. The top 10 teams in each region are listed below for each of the eight regions.  The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday from now on through March 3, 2010. 

Nebraska-Omaha debuts at No. 4 in the South Central region, while Southwest Baptist is ranked sixth and Missouri Western is eighth.
