Nebraska-Omaha 99, Southwest Baptist 91
BOLIVAR, Mo. - Andrew Bridger had another double-double and Nebraska-Omaha shot 52 percent as a team and took care of the basketball in a 99-91 win at No. 16 Southwest Baptist Thursday night.

Bridger was 6-for-11 from the field for 18 points and he had 10 assists to record his second double-double of the year and fifth double-figure assist game. Jeff Martin had 13 points for the Mavericks, and Torrian Harris and Eugene Bain each added 12.

Matt Rogers had a dominating individual performance with 36 points and 20 rebounds for Southwest Baptist and Kurtis Koening added 22 points, but it wasn't enough for the Bearcats.

Central Missouri 96, Northwest Missouri 68
WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- No. 8 Central Missouri jumped all over Northwest Missouri from the start Wednesday night and never looked back in a 96-68 romp.

Alex Moosmann finished with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting to lead Central Missouri, while Bryce Brunz put up 18. Tremaine Luellen hit for 17 points, and Sanijay Watts tallied 16 for the Mules.

Elijah Allen was Northwest Missouri's leading scorer with 19 points on the night.

Missouri Western 71, Truman 68
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Missouri Western made 11-of-14 free throw attempts in the last two minutes to lift the Griffons past Truman, 71-68.

Dominique Thuston dumped in a game-high 20 points to lead Missouri Western, connecting on all eight of his free throw attempts. Marcus Rhodes finished with 19 points (15 in the second half), while Martin Nolan pitched in 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting for the Griffons.

Stefan Garrison led Truman with a team-high 18 points, while Alex Henderson chipped in 15. Tom Norton and Ethan Freeman had 14 and 12, respectively, for the Bulldogs. Freeman also had 11 rebounds to lead all players.

Washburn 62, Pittsburg State 54
PITTSBURG, Kan. -- Logan Stutz returned to the Washburn lineup to score 17 points (13 in the second half) as the Ichabods snapped a five-game losing streak with a 62-54 victory over Pittsburg State.

Stutz had not appeared in a game since the Dec. 28 loss to Missouri Western in Topeka, but returned to lead Washburn with 17 points off the bench. De'Andre Washington recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds, and Maurice Colter scored nine points while dishing out a game-high six assists for the Ichabods.

Rodney Grace led Pittsburg State with 25 points, hitting 8-of-11 attempts from the field. Spencer Magana scored all 15 of his points in the first half for the Gorillas.

Fort Hays State 87, Missouri Southern 81
HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State overcame a six-point second half deficit to escape upset-minded Missouri Southern, 87-81, Monday night.

Coming off a career-high 33 points against Southwest Baptist, MIAA Player of the Week Corbin Kuntzsch led the Tigers in scoring once again with 18 points. Five other Tigers joined him in double figures. Willie Hassell finished with 16, Ken Bowman had 15, and Dominique Jones and Dijon Smith each finished with 12.

Jason Adams paced Missouri Southern with 19 points. He was a perfect 8-of-8 at the free-throw line, despite just 5-of-14 shooting from the field. Mariun Price finished with 15, Chris Scruggs had 11, and Skyler Bowlin and Rich Borries each had 10.

Central Missouri 82, Nebraska-Omaha 78
OMAHA, Neb. - Central Missouri bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 82-78 win Saturday afternoon at Nebraska-Omaha.

Alex Moosman scored the final six points of the game for the Mules, including a field goal with 46 seconds to play to snap a 76-76 tie. Moosman would finish with 17 points, while Sanijay Watts had a game-high 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Tyler Bullock led Nebraska-Omaha with 19 points and added five rebounds and four assists.

Northwest Missouri 73, Truman 70
MARYVILLE, Mo. -- Northwest Missouri guard Girod Adams scored a career-high 32 points to lead the Bearcats to a 73-70 win against Truman Saturday at Bearcat Arena.

Elijah Allen finished with 16 points for the Bearcats, while Maciej Ustarbowski added 11 points.

Truman had four players score in double figures, led by Tom Norton with 19 points.

Fort Hays State 102, Southwest Baptist 89
HAYS, Kan. - No. 10 Fort Hays State defeated No. 11 Southwest Baptist, 102-89, Saturday to pick up its second win over a ranked team during the week.

Corbin Kuntzsch scored a career-high 33 points to pace Fort Hays State. Dijon Smith tied his season high in points with 20 and pulled down seven rebounds, Willie Hassell had 16 and Dominique Jones added 14 for the Tigers.

Matt Rogers was the main offensive threat for Southwest Baptist, scoring 30 points. Tomas Brock followed with 21 and Ryan Dougherty had 17 for the Bearcats.

Missouri Southern 86, Washburn 69
TOPEKA, Kan. -- A pair of career highs from both Patrick Hester and TJ Williams helped lift Missouri Southern over Washburn 86-69 Saturday at Lee Arena.

Hester scored a career-high 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field, while Williams scored his career-high of 12 points on 3-for-3 from the field and 6-for-7 from the charity stripe. Jason Adams had 14 points and a career-high 13 rebounds for his second straight double-double, while DaRell Crittendon and Keane Thomann had 11 points each for the Lions.

Washburn was led by William McNeil with 18 points on 6-for-13 shooting from the field, while Nate Daniels and De'Andre Washington had 11 and 10 points for the Ichabods, respectively.

Emporia State 76, Pittsburg State 66
EMPORIA, Kan. -- In a game of runs, Emporia State had the decisive one in a 76-66 victory over Pittsburg State Saturday night in White Auditorium. Tim Niles led ESU with 26 points as four Hornets scored in double figures.

Niles was joined in double figures by Adam Holthaus with 16 as well as Dustin Andrews and Lamar Wilbern with 11 points each.

Rodney Grace poured in 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Pittsburg State, and Spencer Magana added 18 points for the Gorillas.

Missouri Southern 82, Emporia State 64
JOPLIN, Mo. -- A 17-0 run midway through the second half lifted Missouri Southern over Emporia State, 82-64, Wednesday in front of more than 700 fans at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center who braved the winter weather to attend the game.

Jason Adams led Missouri Southern with 15 points and 10 rebounds for his for his first career double-double. Keane Thomann scored 12 points, DaRell Crittendon had seven points and eight rebounds off the bench, and Chris Scruggs scored 10 points for the Lions.

Emporia State had four score in double figures, led by a game-high 18 points from Matt Boswell. Dustin Andrews scored 13, while Lamar Wilbern and Taylor Euler scored 12 and 10 for the Hornets, respectively.

Missouri Western 84, Northwest Missouri 80
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Missouri Western hit key free throws down the stretch to seal an 84-80 victory over Northwest Missouri Wednesday night.

Quentin Noblin led Missouri Western with a career-high 22 points, 20 of those coming in the second half on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor. Dominique Thuston finished with 21 points, James Bush had 12 points and Marcus Jones added another nine for the Griffons.

Elijah Allen finished with a game-high 25 points to pace Northwest Missouri.

Nebraska-Omaha 73, Truman 64
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Nebraska-Omaha ended the game on an 11-0 run to secure a nine-point victory, 73-64, at Truman Wednesday evening.

Dion Curry had his third double-double of the year for Omaha with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Bullock had 20 points with an 8-for-8 performance from the free throw line, and Andrew Bridger added 12 points for the Mavericks.

Vesko Filchev led Truman with 19 points, and Ethan Freeman added a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
