Kansas City, Mo. – Top seeded Northwest Missouri used a 23-8 run in the first half and never looked back in a 69-51 victory over fourth seeded Fort Hays State in the semifinals.
 
For the Bearcats Justin Pitts scored 20 points and came one assist shy of a double-double with nine in the game. Conner Crooker finished with 15 points while pulling down five rebounds.
 
Dom Samac led the way for the Tigers with 15 points while pulling down four rebounds and dishing out three assists. Kenny Enoch had 10 points and Rob Davis finished with eight points on the night.
 
Northwest Missouri will face Nebraska-Kearney in the MIAA Championship game on Sunday, March 6 at 3:30 p.m. from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
