Kansas City, Mo. – Third seeded Central Oklahoma outshot sixth seeded Emporia State 22-5 putting 13 of those shots on frame in a 2-0 victory in the first round of the MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament.
 
Katie Killion got the scoring started early in the second half as she scored her ninth goal of the season in the 47th minute of the game. The Bronchos would push the talley to 2-0 when Caitlin Moore took a Kenzie Sublett pass to scored in the 70th minute.
 
The UCO defense allowed just one shot on goal as Ally Salls picked up the victory between the pipes.
 
Central Oklahoma will now await the winner of second seeded Fort Hays State and seventh seeded Missouri Western in a semifinal on Friday from the highest remaining seed after tonight’s games.
