Warrensburg, Mo. – For the third straight game the MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament went to overtime where Central Missouri earned a 1-0 victory over Northeastern State to claim the MIAA Championship.
The game was back and fourth tied at 0-0 through two periods with both goalkeepers stopping strong chances. In the ninth minute of the first extra period Megan Woolley took a pass from Hannah Pyle to give her team the title.
Central Missouri earns the MIAA’s automatic bid while all other teams will await the NCAA Division II Selection show Monday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
