Kansas City, Mo. – Central Oklahoma came from behind to defeat Washburn 3-2 in the final match of the season to win the MIAA regular season title and claim the top seed in the MIAA Tournament.
 
The Bronchos fell behind 2-0 through the first two sets before rebounding to take sets three and four. In the deciding fifth set the teams were back and fourth before UCO pulled out the 26-24 set win. Barbara Jackson led her team with 17 kills as Katie Davis dished out 49 assists.
 
UCO earns the top seed in the tournament and will face eighth seeded Emporia State. Central Missouri has earned the second seed in the tournament and will face off with seventh seeded Northwest Missouri.
 
Third seed Nebraska-Kearney will play host to the sixth seed Fort Hays State. Washburn has earned the fourth seed and will face off with fifth seeded Missouri Western.
 
All games are scheduled for a 7 p.m. first serve and will be played on the campus of the higher seeded team.

Game 2: #5 Missouri Western at #4 Washburn                      7 p.m.  
Game 3: #7 Northwest Missouri at #2 Central Missouri         7 p.m.
Game 4: #6 Fort Hays State at #3 Nebraska-Kearney           7 p.m.
