Overland Park, Kan. -- Emporia State batted around in the fifth inning as they plated seven runs to come from behind and earn a 7-6 victory.
For the Hornets Taylor Reichard had a home run and drove in two runs. Taylor Zordel also hit a two run-run home run in the ballgame. Amanda Self went two for four and scored a run while Andrea Piezuch added two RBI. In the circle Karley Schmelzer worked seven inning striking out ten to pick up her second straight win of the day.

For the Griffons Maegan Roemmich went four for four scoring three runs and also driving in three. Keri Lorbert had two RBI on the evening as well.
Emporia State will now face Central Oklahoma at 10 a.m. in an elimination game with the winner advancing to the MIAA Championship. Missouri Western has been eliminated from the tournament.
