Kansas City, Kan. -- Missouri Western had three, three run innings as they picked up an 11-4 win to advance to the MIAA Championship.

For the Griffons Grant Fink was four for four with one run scored. Spencer Shockley went two for four with two runs scored and a run driven in. Shawn Egge drove in two runs and all but one Griffon in the line-up scored a run. David Chew was only one for three, but drove in four runs adding a three-run homer and scored three times. On the mound Ethan Ward worked seven inning to pick up the victory.

For the Gorillas Brad Foss went three for four with one run scored and a run driven in. Ryan Bilovesky was two for four with two runs scored. Luke Bordewick was two for four with a run driven in.

Pittsburg State is eliminated from the MIAA Baseball Tournament. Missouri Western will face Missouri Southern tomorrow in the MIAA Championship game at 11 a.m. from CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
