Kansas City, Mo. – Third seeded Nebraska-Kearney swept to a 3-0 victory over sixth seeded Missouri Western. UNK held MWSU to just .070 hitting as they picked up the 25-22, 25-22, 25-21 victory.

For the Lopers Katie Sokolowski led the way with 14 kills hitting .429 for the match. Erin Seele had a double-double finishing with 37 digs and a team best 19 digs. MJ Massanet added 18 digs and Liz McGowan had 14 digs on the night.

For the Griffons Erica Rottinghaus had a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs. Amanda Boender led the way at the net with seven blocks and Jordan Chohon had 17 assists. On the return Sarah Faubel led the way with 25 digs.

Nebraska-Kearney will face second seeded Washburn at 5 p.m. on Nov. 22 from Warrensburg, Mo.
