MIAA Advertising Opportunities

This page is provided for informational purposes for prospective and interested MIAA partners and advertisers. It is divided into three "sections": (1) media opportuntites; (2) B2B opportunities; and (3) event and program availability. Listed at the bottom of the page is contact information and a viewable and downloadable powerpoint presentation for interested partners.

MEDIA OPPORTUNITES

Conference Website
Advertising opportunites are available on the conference website on the primary rotating ad on the home page as well as "button" ads on the home page. A secondary page for a simple listing of ads and partner logos is under development. All website ads provide links to the partners selected page. Interested advertisers may contact the conference office to obtain information on website traffic numbers.

Conference Webstreaming
Through a partnership with B2 Networks, the MIAA webcasts selected conference and non-conference football, basketball and volleyball contests. Advertising spaces are available on the broadcast page of these broadcasts. Interested advertisers may contact the conference office to obtain information on viewer numbers.

Radio Advertising
The conference can develop radio advertising as a stand-alone "package" or as part of a more comprehensive advertising/partnership relationship through: (1) dedicated "spots" available through the conference's partnership with Sports Radio 810 WHB; (2) tags on "spots" available through the conference's partnership with Sports Radio 810 WHB; and (3) "spots" made available to the conference by radio networks and flagship stations throughout the conference.

Television Advertising
The conference is currently exploring development of television advertising through broadcasts of conference events. Currently, the conference does have available advertising opportunites for "tagged" ads that promote conference championship events through the conference's partnership with Time Warner in the Kansas City metro area.

Venue Signage
The conference can develop as a stand-alone "package" or as part of a more comprehensive advertising package/partnership the placement of signage at all MIAA championship events.

Souvenir Program Advertising
The conference can develop as a stand-alone "package" or as part of a more comprehensive advertising package/partnership the placement of ads (of any size) in championship souvenir programs in the sports of basketball and baseball. Limited space is also available for softball and tennis championship programs. This opportunity is available as a "stand-alone" opportunity through the conference's partnership with Precision Printing. Program ads, as a part of a more comprehensive package, is available through the conference office.

E-Newsletter Distribution
Ad placement or partner/sponsor "spotlight" stories may be included in the MIAA's e-newsletter. The e-newsletter is distributed to a growing e-mail address list that currently includes over 3,500 e-mail addresses and counting. The e-newsletter is distributed monthly and even more frequently during the spring championship season (i.e. February-May).

B2B OPPORTUNTIES

Conference Meetings
The conference can provide interested entities access to conference constituents (CEO's, AD's, coaches, etc.) at semi-annual and annual conference meetings. The entity will be provided an amount of time to address the respective group to promote a product, service or program in exchange for support of the conference through a cash sponsorship or in-kind goods or services.

Event/Meeting Sampling
The conference can provide interested entities access to conference championship events and conference meetings for the purpose of sampling products or for the opportunity to promote a service or program via kiosk placement. The entity will be provided space and time to promote a product, service or program in exchange for support of the conference through a cash sponsorship or in-kind goods or services.

Conference Operations and Championship In-Kind Trades
The conference regularly develops relationships that provide the conference an in-kind trade or cash partnership with any entity that may provide a good or service that is necessary to overall conference operations and/or administration of championship events. Such a relationship provides positive exposure for the partner and provides a positive savings and/or income to the conference.

EVENT AND PROGRAM AVAILABILITY

The MIAA solicits and invites interest and proposals from any entity interested in combining any and all opportunites listed above; as well as, the added benefit of exposure gained through a title sponsorship of any of the following events and programs:

  • MIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Championships
  • MIAA Men's and Women's Golf Championships
  • MIAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships
  • MIAA Baseball Championship
  • MIAA Women's Softball Championship
  • MIAA Hall of Fame program
  • MIAA Awards programs (including all-conference awards, Ken B. Jones Most Outstanding Student-Athlete annual award, annual academic and community service awards, etc.)
  • MIAA annual awards banquet
