MIAA Centennial Moments: Day No. 9

To help celebrate the MIAA's centennial year, the conference will feature "100 days of memories" on the league website, where some of the greatest moments in MIAA history will be highlighted on each of those 100 days spread throughout the calendar year.

Jan. 26, 2005-March 11, 2006: The Washburn Lady Blues basketball team recorded an MIAA and NCAA Division II record 51-game winning streak, including a victory in the 2005 National Championship Game over Seattle Pacific (70-53).

1967-68: Truman wrestling wins its first MIAA Title and Curd Alexander wins the Individual National Championship at 115 pounds. Rich Beard finishes fourth in the nation.
